Beware Of Trial And Error Cosmetic Formulation Blogs Started By Self Proclaimed Gurus & Failed Skincare Brand Owners

Keep in mind I will not be mentioning names here but I will address a damaging trend that is now taking over the Indie beauty industry.

Even though there are tons and tons of self proclaimed cosmetic formulators on the net and even on YouTube, you have to keep your eyes wide open.

If you want to start a skincare brand, avoid trial and error formulation sites.

Nothing worthwhile is truly free. Please keep this in mind. Most of these self proclaimed ‘stubborn’ diyers are failed skincare brand owners or those who quit their skincare brand out of frustration.

Avoid these people to prevent unnecessary waste of time.

Most cosmetic formulators and those that attended formula botanicals with no organic formulation experience are now using their blogs as a trial and error site to gather fans.

Most of my students here are graduates of Formula Botanica who in an attempt to prevent frustration and confusion joined StableCosmeticFormulas.com after months of watching my formulation tip videos on Natural Beauty Kitchen YouTube channel.

Most of these self proclaimed gurus using donation sites like Patreon to gather fans who pay them monthly for nothing.

If your plan is to make skincare products for yourself, this is ok but if you are serious about starting your own skincare brand, I encourage you to stop following such self proclaimed gurus.

They are only using their site to practise cosmetic formulation, their formulas are not shelf worthy.

This is why most of them quit their unsuccessful skincare brands and resort to trial and error approach.

I’m saying this as an experienced cosmetic formulator who has worked with top skincare brands and have invested several years of my life to Cosmetic Chemistry education.

So what is my point?

Most formulas out there are not shelf worthy. If all you plan to give your brand a bad name, you can make products with such trial and error formulas.

The Diyers I’m referring to are people with failed skincare brands. Please keep this in mind.

Some of them started their brands and failed woefully but gave you a cover up reason why they quit their skincare brands.
